April 2005 Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 229 out of 459 passed the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila this April 2005.

The members of the Board of Chemical Engineering are Engr. Lauro D. Guevara, Chairman; Engr. Rodrigo C. Ong and Engr. Francisco A. Arellano, Members.

The results were released exactly on the same day of the last day of examination.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 but not later than Monday, May 16, 2005. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 1 piece 1" x 1" picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession; and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2005-2008. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Oath of Professional will be held before the Board on Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon at the Manila Hotel, Rizal Park, Manila. Registration for the oathtaking ceremony and for membership with the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers (PICHE) will also start on Wednesday, May 4, 2005.
