October 2009 Professional Electronics Engineer Examination

A total of 1,131 electronics engineering graduates passed the October licensure examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced yesterday.

Rizaldo Fuentes, a graduate of Cebu Institute of Technology, topped the examination with a score of 91.10 percent followed by Danny Supnet of University of the East in Ca-loocan.

Placing third with a grade of 90.40 was Jared Noynay of the University of Cebu. Teosseth Altar of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila ranked 4th with 89.80.

Ateneo de Manila graduate Leo Angelo Rull was fifth with a score of 88.30 followed by Mark Cayubit and Charle Niño Pasahol who shared the 6th place with a score of 88.10 percent.

Ian Claudio Santayano of Rizal Technological University ranked 7th with 87.80 followed by University of Santo Tomas graduate Jan Carlo Javier with 87.70.

Mindanao State University graduate Julius Jr. Olandria and Joebert Basco completed the list by placing 9th and 10th place with scores of 87.20 percent and 87.10, respec-tively.

PRC said UST led the list of top performing schools with more than 100 examinees.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration starts on Nov. 9 until Nov. 26.
