September 2008 Chemist Licensure Examination

The Professional Regulation Commission announced last night that 227 out of 481 passed the chemist licensure examination given by the Board of Chemistry in Manila earlier this month.

Joseph De Castro Unsay of the Ateneo De Manila University-Quezon City topped the board exams with a rating of 88.25 percent. He was followed by Thomas Ponce Corpuz Reyes, University of the Philippines-Diliman, 87 percent; Joshua Juni Suico, UP-Manila, 86.75 percent; Marlena Joy Gandola Barker, Central Philippine University, 86.50 percent; Mahalia Adelina Corazon Paningbatan Serrano, UP-Los Baños, 86.25 percent; Ralph Julius Ligaya Mendoza, UP-Manila, 85.75 percent; Xyza Jane Sinel Templonuevo, University of Sto. Tomas, 85.25 percent; Anjelyn Bernal Del Rosario, UP-Manila, 85 percent; Ryan Joseph Aniago, Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Main-Sta.Mesa, 84.75 percent; and Camille Dullavin Malonzo, UP-Diliman, 84.50 percent.

The top performing schools, with five or more examinees passing the board examinations, were the Ateneo De Manila University-Quezon City, University of San Carlos and UP-Los Baños.

The oathtaking of the successful examinees in the said examination, as well as previous passers who have not taken their oath, will be held before the Board on Oct. 6 at the Centennial Hall of the Manila Hotel.
